The Estate
Centuries of winemaking history
Middle Ages
The vineyards of Lafões are born and raised by the hand of the clergy.
1836
The old municipality of Santa Cruz da Trapa, home of Quinta do Rebelo, is dissolved.
19th c.
Father José Rebelo, Dom Rebelo, records the estate's historic grape varieties.
Today
Encostas de Lafões is born, heir to that long tradition.
Training
The land's knowledge is also taught
From the tractor to pruning and grafting, the producer is a certified trainer, carrying the experience of the vineyards and orchards into courses across the country.
